P&D Lydon were contracted to construct a large office block comprising of two story building with office space for 30 persons and large garage/industrial unit.   
                                                             
The construction of the architecturally designed two story building commenced in April 2018 and comprised of entrance hall, large meeting room, reception area, 8 offices, canteen/staff room and ancillary accomodation with carparking for up to 40 cars.
 
The garage commercial unit comprised the construction of two industrial sized pits, 5 bay service area, 18m span(10t) gantry crane, work shops and retail/shop unit.
 
The site works included a large (10,000 gallon) oil seperator, industrial sized plant and percollation area complete with 2500m2 reinforced concrete.
 
The project was split into 3 phases;
  • Phase one: Office Building

    Construction of a two story building with an overall area of 450m2 with;

    • 7 large offices
    • Large entrance hall
    • Meeting/Conference room
    • Reception
    • Canteen
    • Toilets
    • Lift Shaft
    • Multipurpose Room
    • Stair Well

    Client and planning conditions stipulated very high standard of finishes such as;

    • Natural slate roof finishes
    • Triple glazing windows & Doors
    • Air to water exchange heating
    • Ventilation system/Air Exchange

    Phase Two: Commercial Unit

    Construction of large garage/commercial unit to cater for heavy/large plant,with overall area 600m2 with a floor to ceiling height of 7m.

    • 4 bay unit all with 5m high roller doors
    • 2 large mechanic pits (12m long)
    • 12 ton vehicle lift
    • 18m gantry crane capable of lifting 10 ton
    • Two story storage unit with reinforced concrete floors
    • Shop/Retail unit

    Phase Three: Services

    Construction of all drainage/services and hard stand areas including;

    • Separate treatment plant
    • Storm water retention unit
    • Engineered percolation areas
    • 6000m of service ducting complete with chambers
    • 2500m2 reinforced concrete hardstand
    • 800m2 tarmac surfacing car park
    • Natural limestone boundary walls
    • Entrance gates including signage
    • Landscaping
