After the drastic impact of Storm Eowyn, P&D Lydon are finally recovering with their fellow locals. Immense rehabilitation was conducted in cleaning up the wreckage of the storm, involving repolling the ESB lines and clearing up of the fallen trees and repairing damaged properties. Huge co-ordination with Irish Water and local authorities helped provide community aid by the staff, this involved transporting water supplies from Galway Water to nursing homes, local centres, and households in the locality with no water. Through their social media pages, P&D Lydon also offered everyone in their community to have use of their electricity and water supplies at their head office during the black out after the storm.
