About this Project
P&D Lydon were contracted by the ESB to install 3km of trench (6-way 38kVA ducting) within the urban environment of Limerick City at Garryowen to Southhill.
The works carried out included trench excavation through reinforced concrete and tarmac surfaced roads under stop/go traffic management while still maintain uninterrupted access to all household and business owners.
The use of specialist plant owned by P&D Lydon helped minimise the disruption to the local community while still allowing good progress was made on site.

P&D Lydon were contracted by ESB Networks to install 14-way 38kVA ducting between the existing power station at Shannonbridge to the nearby substation.
